Subject:  Update on Power Feed Upgrades

Hi Everybody - It looks like we have just two more sets of conversions
to complete on this job, and they're both scheduled for this week.

On Tuesday, Aug 1, we'll be working on the group of customer around the
"Post Office" building - this apparently includes SBC, Ch 22, Ch 56, and
some other FM transmitters on those facilities.  (If you know your
transformer pad number, we're talking about V5007256, V5007257, and
P5008194).  As before, our switching should begin around 7-8am and you
should expect it to last until the late afternoon.

On Thursday, Aug 3, we'll be converting the Ch 7, Ch 34, & Ch 46 services.
Unfortunately, because of some of the temporary feeds that we had to
install last month due to failure of that old 4kV cable, we will also have
to do some final 16kV cable reconfigurations, which means that we'll also
be impacting again the services to Ch 9, Ch 5, and all of the people that
we're converting on Tues 8/1.  As far as we can tell right now, this should
be the last time that we have to do this.

So, after this Thursday, we should have every customer up there converted
to the new 16kV system and we'll be able to finish off the entire job next
week with just some final clean up work.

Thank you all, again, for your willingness to work with us during these
outages.  My construction manager up there has told me several times about
how understanding all of the 'local' contacts up there have been over the
past couple of months as we've worked on this job.  We certainly hope that
these improvements will serve the entire mountain well for another 40-50
years, just like the old system has for so long.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Thanks.
