Subject: Update on Power Feed Upgrades
Hi Everyone - I didn't realize last week how true my words would be about
the best laid plans, because I have to inform you now about a change to our
schedule. Due to the extreme heat over the past few days, the crews that
we need in order to accomplish some of our work are not available tomorrow,
so we'll have to delay some items by a day.
In short, that means that the "NBC" conversion scheduled for Wednesday
(i.e. tomorrow) is going to be done on Thursday July 27, and the larger
American Tower service originally set for Thursday will now be worked on
Friday July 28.
It doesn't appear that this delay will have any negative impact on the work
we were planning on doing next week. As a matter of fact, since we are
able to do more of the "non-outage" related cable installation and
connection today and tomorrow, we might actually be able to advance the
"Post Office" complex conversion from Thursday Aug 3 up to Tuesday or
Wednesday, and the ABC/34/46 conversion late next week. I'll know more
about that in a couple of days though.
Sorry for the revisions, and the somewhat late notice, but I just found out
about this change an hour ago.
Thanks!!
