When RCA closed its doors in 1986, a friend and I salvaged a lot of the historical documents that GE was tossing into the dumpster.  Following are some of what was in two banker's boxes now in my possession.

In case you are wondering about the link between RCA and GE, in 1986 RCA was sold to GE.  Prior to 1986, RCA had their Frequency Management Bureau at 30 Rock and managed all the licenses of NBC and RCA from that location.  When GE took over RCA, they did a major housecleaning and decided to toss out any old files and documents.  The copies you see here are part of a large collection of files that fortuitously missed the dumpster.

Enjoy some memories while viewing the pdfs below.

P.S.  RCA was a vibrant radio and television station developer and operator.  It's interesting not only to note the progression of their AM stations, but FM, TV and even their shortwave facilities.
